A Clarksville man was charged with robbery after fighting with a clerk at a smoke shop on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Thursday night.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called to Happy Hour Smoke and Vape for 32-year-old Robert Cook-Fernan, who had been arguing with the clerk over a vape, then reached over the counter before pulling a knife when he was confronted by the clerk.

Cook-Fernan was then arrested and charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree criminal mischief.
