A Hopkinsville man was charged with drug possession on West 1st Street in Hopkinsville Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a bicycle being ridden by 45-year-old Deoreo Wilson because they believed he had an outstanding warrant. During the stop, he reportedly showed signs of being under the influence.
He reportedly had no light on his bike, and when asked about a bag in his hand, he stated it was meth and showed it to the officers.
He was arrested and charged with public intoxication and possession of meth second offense.
