Larry Bigger, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at his home in Cadiz, Kentucky.
Born on December 13, 1956, in Flint, Michigan, he was the son of Raymond and Barbara Bigger.
In 1986, Larry married the love of his life, Shirley Corkern Bigger. He dedicated 47 years of his professional life to serving as the general manager of White Fence Farm in Romeoville, Illinois. After retiring, Larry and Shirley fulfilled their dream of moving full-time to their home on Lake Barkley, where they embraced a serene life filled with nature and family. Larry found great joy in fishing and boating on the lake, often spending his days outdoors, yet he most cherished the time spent with his family. He adored Shirley, and his love for his children and grandchildren was boundless.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Bigger; his son, Robert Bigger; his brother, Ronnie Bigger, and sister, Jeanette Bigger.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Shirley Corkern Bigger; his son, Larry Bigger (Shelley) of Greenbrier, TN; his daughter, Melissa Farmer (Dan) of Yorkville, IL; his grandchildren, Madilynn Farmer, Logan Farmer, and Colson Bigger; his mother, Barbara Bigger, and his brother, James Bigger, both of Lake Geneva, WI.
A memorial service to honor Larry’s life will be held at a later date in Illinois.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, 138 Main Street in Cadiz.
