It wouldn’t be Christmas without jolly old Saint Nick making the rounds.
Santa made the first of several stops in Oak Grove Friday night for the annual Christmas Parade, which included lighting the Christmas tree at Valor Hall.

click to download audioThe night also featured pictures with Santa and a performance by fire twirler, 19-year-old Harlie Peterson, who competed at the Baton Twirling World Championship in Italy and returned with 1 gold medal and 4 silver.
Floats were judged: first place went to Melissa Oden, second place to the Mystic Baton and Pom Team, and third place to the Oak Grove Community Center.
Oliver says they are excited for the tradition and a new opportunity.
