Christian County’s Grand Jury returned several indictments and true bills just before the Christmas holiday, several critical in nature.

A true bill for murder was entered for 63-year-old Patricia Bader-Sanders, of Hopkinsville, when on or about November 3, she committed the offense under circumstances of manifesting “extreme indifference to human life” by wantonly engaging in conduct, creating grave risk of death of Wilma Saturley.

Bader-Sanders was originally charged with knowing abuse/neglect by the Hopkinsville Police Department, after officials were originally called to a hospital due to possible elder abuse.

There, they found a woman who was unable to speak but had multiple bruises and swelling on her forehead, jaw, arms and legs. Her shoulder appeared to be dislocated, and she had large, severe bed sores. Bader-Sanders was both a relative and a caregiver, and she told police the bruising was due to her family member being “combative” and “throwing herself out of bed.”

Bail was set at $100,000, and she is currently lodged in Christian County Jail.

A true bill for murder, first-degree wanton endangerment and first-offense DUI was entered for 43-year-old Douglas Jones, of Hopkinsville, when on or about October 24, his actions reportedly caused the death of Iredell Bouldin, and substantial risk of death to a minor.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of a fatal collision on Lovers Lane near Romeo Drive around 9:40 p.m. October 24.

Upon arrival, they found a 77-year-old man who had been pronounced dead at the scene, and investigators later said results from the Kentucky State Police Crime Laboratory detailed Jones had a blood alcohol content approximately three times the legal limit at the time of the crash.

Bail was set at $150,000, and he is currently lodged in Christian County Jail.

A true bill for first-degree domestic violence rape was entered for 23-year-old Alexis Feliciano, of Oak Grove, when on or about November 1 in Christian County, he used forcible compulsion for sex with the victim.

Oak Grove Police say forced that sexual act after coming home from drinking.

Bail was set at $50,000, and he is currently lodged in Christian County Jail.
