
A Pembroke man was charged with DUI and assault after a disturbance on Westbrook Circle on December 22nd.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called for a disturbance involving 44-year-old Randall Johnson, who had fled the area in a vehicle.
He had reportedly been fighting with a woman over a cell phone and put his hands around her neck to hold her down.
Deputies say Johnson was located in a traffic stop and showed signs of being under the influence. After field sobriety test, he was arrested and charged with DUI third offense, fourth-degree assault, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.
