A traffic stop on North Fowler Avenue in Hopkinsville led to drug charges for two men and a woman on Christmas Eve.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Jakiya Daniel because the car had been reported stolen in the area.
Drug paraphernalia could be reportedly seen inside the vehicle, and after a search, a powder substance believed to be fentanyl was located along with a large amount of money.
Daniel and her passenger, 40-year-old Richard Anderson, and 36-year-old Jeremy Moman, were all arrested and charged with trafficking fentanyl. Anderson was also charged with receiving stolen property and promoting contraband.
Daniel was also charged with operating on a suspended or revoked license and receiving stolen property.
