A Hopkinsville man was charged with trafficking drugs and wanton endangerment after a traffic stop on East 10th Street in Hopkinsville on December 22nd.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by Jennifer Queen for a turn signal violation and noticed a passenger, 26-year-old Jacob Pruitt, who was wearing a wig and makeup, was seated with two children and had one in his lap.
Pruitt was found to have a warrant for probation violation, and deputies say he was arrested, and while in the cruiser he tried to ingest an off-white crystal substance believed to be meth that also fell on the floorboard.
Deputies say he put the children in danger by having the substance on him with the children.
Pruitt is charged with trafficking meth, tampering with physical evidence, three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, and three counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.
