A Hopkinsville man was charged after a report of a disturbance on North Elm Street in Hopkinsville on Monday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a disturbance and found a broken window, blood on the screen, and could hear a crying child inside.

30-year-old Robert Otis would reportedly only crack the door open and would not follow officers’ commands to step outside.

Police say he was removed from the home and fought multiple officers while being arrested.

He is charged with first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental operations.
