Susan Faye Davie Parsons, age 81, a longtime resident of Versailles, Kentucky, passed away in Midway, at The Homeplace at Midway on December 30, 2025.
Susan was the daughter of J. Reeves and Susan Word Davie of Hopkinsville. She graduated from Christian County High School and earned an Education degree from Austin Peay State University and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Murray State University.
Susan taught in Christian County, Hartsville, Ohio, and Versailles.
Susan was preceded in death by husband, Bob Parsons, and son, Michael Bowers.
She is survived by her grandson, Dylan Bowers, and her brothers, Alfred (Janine) Davie and Gene Davie.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home- Harrodsburg Rd in Lexington is in charge of the arrangements.
