Two firefighters were promoted after the retirement of one of their Captains last week.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says Captain Curtis Nightingale retired from the Department after 22 years with his last shift on December 29th.
Rogers says they are proud to announce the promotion of Lieutenant Kyle Graves to Captain. He has been at the department since 2014 and recently added the title “Dad” by welcoming a healthy baby girl to Christian County with his wife, Kimberly, last month.
Firefighter and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Brandon Isbell was promoted, along with Graves. Isbell joined the department in 2018 and will join Station 3 as a Lieutenant on Battalion 1.
