A fight between a man and a woman on Hazel Street led to charges for the woman Monday night.
Hopkinsville Police say it is early in the investigation, but it appears a fight between a man and 42-year-old Irean Coleman in an apartment led to her cutting the man with a knife on the side of his abdomen.
The man was taken to the hospital by Hopkinsville EMS due to his injuries. Coleman was taken into custody and charged with first-degree assault.
