Small Businesses Win at Compass Awards

Several small businesses in Hopkinsville are sporting new hardware after being honored as the best of the best in the community.

Wednesday night, the Christian County Chamber of Commerce celebrated its annual Compass Small Business Awards.

Evening Sponsor, Hopkinsville Water Environmental Authority General Manager, Melissa Spurr says each nominee is an integral part of our community.

Many fledgling businesses were among those recognized, but the comeback story of the night was the winner of the Spirit of Entrepreneurialism.

Another downtown restaurant, The Crusty Pig, was honored as the Foodie Favorite, with Co-Owner Mindy Hargrove saying they are humbled.
