Though not yet operational, a residential mental health treatment facility seems to be gaining momentum in Trigg County.

According to kywellnesscenter.com, the Kentucky Wellness Center will be opening near Cadiz at 2087 Kings Chapel Road, and will be “dedicated” to helping men and women 18 and older to “overcome mental health challenges and build fulfilling lives in recovery.”

The website further ascertains it will be able to use individual, family and/or group therapies to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of mood, psychotic, trauma, anxiety, eating, dissociative and personality disorders, and could, in theory, accept verified insurance clients from a number of regional locations, including: Cadiz, Hopkinsville, Louisville, Lexington, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Elizabethtown, Evansville and Fort Campbell.

The website was authored by Raleigh Souther, who, according to LinkedIn, is a content manager out of Santa Ana, California, with more than a decade of experience creating digital content and managing social media.

The website was medically reviewed by Lori Humphries, who, according to LinkedIn, is a licensed clinical social worker, clinical alcohol and drug counselor and certified clinical supervisor with degrees from Murray State University and Campbellsville University.

This is a developing story.
