A wreck on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville sent two people to the hospital Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say at 3:53 am, a northbound car on South Virginia Street collided with a car going eastbound on East 9th Street.
The driver of the first car reportedly fled on foot after the crash leaving two people in the car who were injured and had to be taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment.
Police say the driver of the second car also went to the hospital by private vehicle due to injuries.
The driver who fled from the crash has not been located.
