George Henry Coleman, 78, of Hopkinsville, passed away on February 11, 2026, at his home.
George was a mechanic, and he had worked at Hilltop Auto, Johnson Salvage, and other yards.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Bell Smith. Brother, George Smith, sister, Mary
Ann Riley.
His children survive him: Stanley Bonner, Deshaun Coleman, and Michele Baxter. Siblings: William Smith, Isaiah Thomas, Betty Watkins, Carolyn Gooch.
Eight grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family chose cremation.
Adams and Sons Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
