A home on Rozelle Avenue in Hopkinsville was damaged in a fire on Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says the fire was contained to one room and a portion of the attic but the whole home suffered smoke damage.
The owner was able to get out of the home uninjured and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Due to the damage, the owner will be temporarily displaced.
