Trigg County Tourism Director Beth Sumner will join the Porter Development Initiative Leaders Academy following funding approval from the Cadiz-Trigg County Economic Development Commission on Thursday.
The invitation, extended by the Clarksville-Montgomery County EDC, aims to integrate Trigg, Christian, and Todd counties more deeply into the Clarksville Metropolitan Statistical Area’s regional strategy.
South Western Kentucky EDC Director Carter Hendricks emphasized that the program will focus on developing a regional growth strategy. By participating in this Tennessee Leaders Action Platform, Sumner will collaborate with neighboring leaders to align local tourism assets with broader economic growth across the state line.
She will be joined by Hendricks and Planters Bank’s Jason Jenkins as representation for Christian County and Todd County Judge-Executive Todd Mansfield.
