
An Investigation into a missing urn from a gravesite in Crofton led to a woman being taken into custody on Thursday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called about a missing urn from a gravesite in Crofton, leading them and Kentucky State Police to a home on Wood Street in Hopkinsville.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says a woman involved in the investigation suffered a medical issue, and an ambulance came to the home and checked her out.
Deputies say the urn contained a family member of the woman, and the urn was located in the home on Wood Street. She was then arrested by Kentucky State Police her name and a full list of her charges have not been released.
