A Clarksville man was charged with drug possession on Hugh Hunter Road in Oak Grove on Wednesday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they got out with 42-year-old Rashad Stephens while he was out at a gas pump due to a check on the vehicle showing no insurance and the registered owner to have an expired driver’s license.
Deputies say the odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle, and after a search, marijuana and several suspected ecstasy pills were found along with a gun loaded with hollow-point ammunition.
He was arrested and charged with using restricted ammo during a felony – no shots, possession of LSD and marijuana.
