Medicaid, Education, And Roads Being Considered By State Senate

Increased cost of medicaid and critical road projects are on the mind of third district State Senator Craig Richardson.

Senator Richardson says after being passed by the Kentucky House of Representatives last week the state senate Appropriations and Revenue committee is diving into the state budget and road plan.

Senator Richardson says the cost of road paving and repairs is continuing to increase, which poses some problems when funding the state road plan.

He adds there some critical local projects that he wants to see in the state road plan.

Richardson represents Christian, Caldwell, and Muhlenburg Counties in the State Senate.
