Hopkinsville residents will have an opportunity to help shape the next spending plan for the City of Hopkinsville when officials host a public budget meeting next week.
The meeting is slated for 6 pm next Monday at Hopkinsville City Hall. City leaders say the meeting is intended to gather public input as work begins on the city’s budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
Residents can provide feedback on community priorities as administrators and the Hopkinsville City Council begin evaluating funding for city services, programs, and capital projects.
The city’s annual budget outlines funding for areas such as public safety, infrastructure, parks and recreation, and other municipal services.
