A motorcyclist was injured in a wreck on Pembroke Fairview Road in Fairview on Friday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say that at 12:34 p.m., a motorcyclist was northbound just before the monument when he lost control of the motorcycle due to the wind, causing it to run off into the ditch.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says the motorcyclist was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to a waiting helicopter that flew him to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for back injuries.
The Fairview Fire Department also assisted law enforcement at the scene.
