Two Charged With Trafficking Drugs After Month-Long Investigation

An investigation over a month long and involving several agencies led to drug trafficking charges for a man and a woman on Wednesday.

Callaway County Sheriff’s deputies say an investigation involving the United States Drug Enforcement Administration Paducah Post of duty, Kentucky State Police, the Hopkinsville Police Department, and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office led to a traffic stop on Interstate 24 near Cadiz And the seizure of 8.8 pounds of meth.

The investigation led to the arrest of 51-year-old Monte Clark of Grand Rivers, and 45-year-old Ashley Wooldridge of Kuttawa on charges of trafficking meth.

Deputies say they are investigating a drug trafficking operation with suppliers out of state.
