A home on Ashbury Circle in Hopkinsville was damaged in a fire on Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says the fire was contained to a bedroom near the bed but the whole home has smoke damage.
Rogers says a woman who was inside the home suffered burns to her leg from the fire and was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment.
The family will be temporarily displaced due to the damage.
