Fran Taylor Layton, 74, of Hopkinsville, died at 8:59 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Riverside Cemetery with Joe Wilson officiating. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Christian County, she was born January 19, 1952, the daughter of the late Henry Clay Taylor and Leona Esther Wilson Taylor. Fran had retired from Western State Hospital.
Survivors include her son, Clay Layton of Seattle, WA; her sister, Pat Taylor of Hopkinsville, KY; and her grandchildren, Teagan Layton and Torin Layton.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the giver’s favorite charity.
