United States Senator Rand Paul is reportedly considering running for President in 2028.
According to The Hill the Kentucky Senator made the comment in an audio clip that was recently released. Senator Paul told CBS News’ Robert Costa that he is about 50-50 on whether or not to run, He said he will make a decision after mid-term elections in November.
Senator Paul previously ran for President in 2016. He dropped out of the race early and decided to run for another term in the Senate to continue representing Kentucky.
Senator Paul has been a critic of President Trump’s administration’s policies and previously stated he would not back Vice President J.D. Vance in a run for president.
