Funeral services for Sharon Marie Tandy Ramseur, 64, of Hopkinsville, will be held Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Sharon Marie Tandy Ramseur, daughter of the late Brenda Tandy, was born Aug. 12, 1961, in Christian County.
She died Friday, March 20, 2026, at Richland Place in Nashville, Tennessee.
Sharon was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, where she served on the Mother’s Ministry. For several years, she worked as a phlebotomist for Trover Clinic. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and treasured time spent with her grandchildren, family, and friends.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rosa Story, and an aunt, Jewel Facen.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, John Ramseur; two sons, Jonathan Ramseur and Joshua Ramseur (Amber); two brothers, Elder John Story and Mark Story; one sister, Jennifer Story; and three grandchildren, Jonathan Trey Ramseur, Layton Joshua Ramseur, and Eden-Marie Yvette Ramseur.
