
A Crofton woman was charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop on East 18th Street in Hopkinsville on Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Julia Shaw for a turn signal violation and found she did not have an operator’s license.
Law enforcement K9 Havoc reportedly alerted on the vehicle to the presence of drugs, and after a search, 29 grams of suspected meth, along with 2 grams of suspected marijuana and $860 in cash, were located.
Shaw was arrested and charged with trafficking meth and possession of marijuana.
