An arrest on active warrants led to drug charges on North Fowler Avenue in Hopkinsville on Tuesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they went to the home to locate 42-year-old Jack McLendon of Hopkinsville, who had six active warrants for probation violation in Christian County.
McLendon reportedly tried to run out the door but noticed the deputy standing there and fled back into the home.
After getting consent from the homeowner, deputies say the home was searched, and McLendon and a second man, 55-year-old Frank Williams of Hopkinsville, were found along with suspected meth, a glass pipe, marijuana, and a scale.
They were both arrested and charged with possession of meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. The possession of meth charge for McLendon was for third or more offenses.
