The City of Hopkinsville has announced four applicants for a vacant Ward 8 seat on the Hopkinsville City Council.
According to city officials, the vacancy drew applications from Kathy Detraz, Robert Meek, Steven Mitchell, and Tiffany Pittman.
The opening will be addressed during the next Hopkinsville City Council meeting on April 7. During that session, council members will interview each candidate and then vote in open session to select a replacement.
The person chosen will fill the Ward 8 council seat.
City leaders say the meeting will be open to the public.
