A child was flown to a Nashville hospital after falling from a horse on Shurdan Creek Road in Christian County on Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says around 2 pm, a 5-year-old fell off a horse and was taken to a waiting helicopter by ambulance.
The child was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville due to his injuries.
