
A Hopkinsville woman was charged with theft of identity and drug possession on West 1st Street on Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 41-year-old Christina Brison and another woman who were walking on the wrong side of the road, and Brison used someone else’s information instead of her own to identify herself.
Police say it was discovered that it was not her name or date of birth, and she was arrested and found to have meth, a smoking device, and a syringe in her belongings.
The investigation led to Brison being charged with giving officers false identifying information, hitchhiking or disregarding traffic regulations for a pedestrian, possession of meth, theft of identity.
She was also found to have warrants for failure to appear and probation violation.
