A Hopkinsville man was flown to the hospital after he was hit by a vehicle on Interstate 169 in Christian County on Friday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say that at 4:35 am, Edward Price was walking on the side of the interstate when he stepped into traffic and was struck by a truck driven by Ezequiel Sanchez of New Mexico in the southbound lanes near the Fort Campbell Boulevard exit.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says Price was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to meet with a waiting helicopter that flew him to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville due to severe head and arm injuries.
