A small fire was found in an apartment on West 13th Street in Hopkinsville Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says they were called for smoke coming from the apartment and found a small fire on the stove that was quickly extinguished with no damage to the building.
No one was found inside the apartment and it appears to be vacant.
