A Clarksville man was charged with drug possession after a traffic stop on Pembroke Oak Grove Road in Oak Grove Saturday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Dejuan Howard for having blue lights installed in his front and back bumpers.
During the stop, he was reportedly found to have a suspended DUI license and an altered registration plate.
After being taken to jail, deputies say he took off his shoe, and a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine was found.
Howard was charged with possession of cocaine second offense, first-degree promoting contraband, tampering with physical evidence, display of illegal/altered registration plate, driving on DUI-suspended license, and improper use of blue lights.
