A Sebree man was charged with assaulting his girlfriend in Hopkinsville on Sharpe Street Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 44-year-old Steven Gower threw his girlfriend on the bed, got on top of her, choked her, before she was able to fight him off.
Both of them had marks for the fight Police say adding he admitted everything was his fault.
Grower was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault and first-degree strangulation. He also had warrants for failure to appear and non-payment of court costs.
