Leadership Team Selected For New Christian County High School

Christian County Public Schools has announced the seven administrators who will lead the new consolidated Christian County High School, opening in August of 2026.

Superintendent Chris Bentzel says this leadership team represents a major step in the county’s transformation of how high school education is done.

click to download audioThe four academy principals introduced Thursday include Lacey Ramirez for the Academy of Freshman Success, Arnelle Lynch-Wesley for Health and Community Services, Joseph Riley for Business, Engineering and Manufacturing, and Cindy Campbell for Agriculture and Skilled Trades.

 

Ramirez, who currently serves as principal at Sinking Fork Elementary, says her academy will be the foundation for student success.

Arnelle Lynch-Wesley, current principal for the district’s Virtual Learning Academy, says she looks forward to preparing students for service and leadership.

Riley, currently an assistant principal at Hopkinsville High School, says the new school will create opportunities for students beyond graduation.

And Campbell, who serves as Head Principal of Hopkinsville High School, says her academy will focus on skills, confidence, and character.

click to download audioIn addition, three administrators will serve schoolwide roles: Kristen Lindsey as Administrator of Student Services, Megan Kem as Administrator of Instruction, and Jonathan King as Administrator of Operations.
