Christian County Grand Jury Returns Multiple Indictments

The Christian County Grand Jury returned various indictments on Friday.

Rebecca Weaver, 48, of Erin, Tennessee, was indicted on charges of second-degree fleeing or evading police, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol – with aggravator, and theft by unlawful taking or disposition.

On July 20, 2025, Oak Grove Police said they were called for Weaver, who was trying to fight with staff at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming, and Hotel, and was highly intoxicated, and tried to take a traffic cone.

When police arrived, they started talking to a male driver of the vehicle, and, while doing so, Weaver got into the driver’s seat and drove off while being told to stop. The vehicle was stopped when it was boxed in by a second officer.

Kyrah Jones, 28, of Madison, Tennessee, was indicted on charges of third-degree assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, and alcohol intoxication.

Hopkinsville Police say a man drove to the police department because Jones would not get out of his vehicle, and she had previously been given a court order to have no contact with him. While being arrested, she reportedly dropped to the ground, braced her legs against the cruiser, then kicked an officer in the back.

Tiffany McKnight, 38, of Hopkinsville, was indicted on charges of theft by deception under $10,000 and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

In late April 2019, McKnight went to United Southern Bank to deposit an $8,500 check and withdraw $4,100, knowing the check was invalid. Also around the same time period, and on May 6, 2019, she knowingly possessed altered checks in the amounts of $8,500 and $9,950.99.

Keith Wyatt, 58, of Lafayette, was indicted on charges of theft by unlawful taking – firearm, first-degree possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they arrested Wyatt on a warrant taken out by Hopkinsville Police, after they said someone gave him two guns to clean and return, but he blocked the person’s calls and did not return the guns.

Patrick Darrah, 35, of Nashville, Tennessee, was indicted on three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, two counts of third-degree possession of a controlled substance while armed, two counts possession of drug paraphernalia while armed, public intoxication – controlled substance, expired Kentucky registration receipt, failure to produce an insurance card, and receiving stolen property – firearm. Darrah was also indicted on additional charges of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft by unlawful taking under $10,000.

Oak Grove Police say on July 18, 2025, Darrah used an altered money order to buy a car at BW Auto Sales in Oak Grove, which was denied after being turned into the bank, and the vehicle’s GPS was also removed.

He was reportedly located during a traffic stop on Interstate 24 after attempting to cash an altered check at a Check Express. During the stop, police say an unknown pill, a gun, several blank checks, and money orders were found in his possession.
