The Christian County Grand Jury handed down multiple indictments Friday, including charges of child pornography, robbery, assault on an officer, and endangerment.

A true bill was issued on Michael Castle of Greensburg on two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and one count of third-degree terroristic threatening.

According to the indictment, the charges follow an investigation by the Hopkinsville Police Department on August 21, when Castle allegedly put two people at serious risk of injury and threatened one with death or serious harm.

Curtis McGee of Hopkinsville was indicted on a charge of first-degree robbery.

Hopkinsville Police reported that on July 26, McGee stopped his truck on South Clay Street, where he punched a woman and took her bicycle. He was taken into custody after officers found him at the Travel Inn on East 9th Street.

A true bill was returned on Anthony Tucker of Hopkinsville on charges of first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, menacing, and obstructing governmental operations – obstructing a highway.

Tucker is accused of blocking a road with a fence near Cave Street on June 3, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.

Steve Ervin of Hopkinsville was indicted on four counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor older than 12 years of age but younger than 18 years of age, first offense, between January 1 and August 5.

Ervin was arrested in August after Hopkinsville Police said they received tips that his Google account contained 344 files of child pornography.

A true bill was issued on John Jones of Cadiz for failure to comply with the sex offender registration 2nd or greater offense.

The indictment indicates the charge stems from or about July 18 and was investigated by Hopkinsville Police.
