A Hopkinsville man was charged with assaulting a woman on Bryan Street Saturday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 31-year-old Victor Civils struck the mother of his child in the head with a closed fist, and after being arrested, he was found to have meth in his possession.
He is charged with fourth-degree assault and possession of meth.
