Site-Based Decision-Making Councils exist to help guide schools.
As part of state law, those councils report to school boards about the work. In Christian County, that means bringing all the councils to the December School Board Workshop.
Superintendent Chris Bentzel says they chose several years ago to have all the presentations be on the same night.

Prior to the presentations, the School Board recognized the Christian County High School Band for its State Championship, with Director Anthony Darnall saying he was very proud of the kids.
