Clarksville Man Charged After Christian County Pursuit

A Clarksville man was charged after a pursuit with law enforcement on Pennyrile Parkway Saturday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop a motorcycle driven by Eldee Young for speeding at the 16-mile marker, and he fled, exiting onto Crofton Fruit Hill Road at speeds of over 100 mph.

The pursuit reportedly came to an end at the 9000 block of Greenville Road, with Young stopping for law enforcement and being taken into custody.

He is charged with speeding, first-degree fleeing or evading police, using restricted ammo during felony no shots, first-degree wanton endangerment, trafficking in marijuana, and tampering with physical evidence.
