Christian County’s Grand Jury returned several indictments Friday, two of which involved unique circumstances.

A true bill has been returned for 50-year-old William Wright, of Hopkinsville, for theft by failure to make a require disposition of property over $10,000.

On, or between, January 19 and March 21, 2024, in Christian County, Wright reportedly took checks from the Christian County Health Department totaling more than $95,000 for the purchase of construction supplies and failed to purchase and/or deliver said supplies, with the intent to benefit himself or another.

He was released on recognizance.

A true bill has been returned for 29-year-old Brittany Oldham, of Hopkinsville, for complicity of second-degree escape.

On, or about, September 30, 2025, in Christian County, Oldham picked up Montavious White from his work release location — while knowing he was an inmate of the Christian County Jail.

Bail has been listed as “cited.”
