Authorities are investigating after several tools were taken in a theft on John Rives Spur on Wednesday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say thousands of dollars’ worth of tools were reported stolen from a business on John Rives Spur.
This theft was reported to deputies shortly after Hopkinsville Police say someone in a truck threatened a man with a gun on John Rivers Road, demanding what he thought was copper wire from the man.
No arrest has been made in either incident, and deputies say at this time it’s unknown if they are connected.
