A wreck on Hugh Hunter Road in Oak Grove sent three people to the hospital two with severe injuries Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say that at around 5 pm, an SUV was attempting to pass other vehicles when it collided with a van head-on.
Deputies say they were at the gas station and noticed the SUV that they had been looking for due to an investigation and before getting behind it the driver started passing vehicles and going head-on towards traffic leading to a crash.
Two people from the SUV were flown to Nashville hospitals with a third person from the van being transported by ambulance to Vanderbilt Health in Clarksville.
