
A Hopkinsville man was charged after a report of him threatening to assault people in the Walmart parking lot on Clinic Drive on Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for 39-year-old Sidney Nixon, who was threatening to assault people in the parking lot.
He reportedly claimed to be a content creator and showed signs of being under the influence of some kind of substance.
Police say he claimed to have warrants for killing three people, and after being arrested, he claimed to have a gun and resisted being checked by law enforcement.
He was found to have a warrant for second-degree robbery in Christian County.
Nixon was arrested and charged with third-degree terroristic threatening, resisting arrest, giving an officer false identifying information, second-degree disorderly conduct, and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
