Tonja Jo Taylor, age 60, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
Tonja was born October 7, 1965 in San Francisco, California.
During her working years, she was a hair stylist. Tonja loved the Lord, His creations and adored time with her family. She enjoyed horses and horseback riding, as well as being around her dogs. Tonja could often be found listening to music, singing and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn Chapman.
She is survived by her three daughters, Jessica Burney (Kyle) of Marshfield, Missouri, Brooke Campbell (Boone) of Hallettsville, Texas and Gabby Phillips (Rachel) of Wilson, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Jace Burney, Lennox Burney, LylaGrace Burney, Mayzie Campbell and Cayden Campbell; stepfather, Younger Chapman of Cadiz and one brother, Rick Fortner (Vicki) of Signal Mountain, Tennessee.
There will be no services at this time.
