A report of a burglary in progress on Carneal Lane led to charges for an Oak Grove man and a Clarksville woman on Saturday morning.

Oak Grove Police say they stopped 20-year-old Alec Parmley and 22-year-old Cheyenne Helton after trying to retrieve his truck from a tow truck company’s lot. Parmley was seen jumping the fence and attempting to get into the windows.

They were reportedly stopped by law enforcement in a traffic stop, and Parmley claimed he called the business and was told that he would have to wait until they opened to get his truck.

Police say he went to the lot and tried to get the vehicle. They were both arrested and charged with attempted first-degree burglary.
