A check of a license plate led to several charges for an Owensboro man on Hugh Hunter Road in Oak Grove on Wednesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they got out with a vehicle at a gas station after the license plate on the vehicle was found to be from another car.
During the investigation, deputies say 43-year-old James Dunn, who had been driving the vehicle, was found to have a suspended license.
After a search of his belongings, he was reportedly found to have suspected marijuana, a meth pipe, and meth in a bag hidden on his body.
He was arrested and charged with display of an illegal/altered registration plate, driving on a DUI-suspended license second offense, possession of meth second offense, possession of marijuana, and tampering with physical evidence.
